SharkBite 3/4"x1/2"x1/2" Brass Lead-Free Pex Barb Insert Tee. It allows for a 1/2" branch from a 3/4" run of cross link polyethylene pex tubing. To secure the 1/2" barb end of the fitting to 1/2" pex pipe, you can use TV# 608933 cinch clamps & TV# 608743 cinch tool, or copper crimp rings & crimp tool. Similarly, secure the 3/4" barb end of the fitting to 3/4" pex pipe with TV# 608826 cinch clamps & TV# 608743 cinch tool, or copper crimp rings & crimp tool. (Not included). This fitting is immediately testable to well over 100 psi and meets the NSF/ANSI standard 14-2009 & ASTM F 1807-9SI standard for products intended for the transport of potable water. It also complies with ANSI/NSF standard 61 annex G for lead-free compliance, ensuring that the wetted surface of the product contacted by consumable water contains less than 0.25% of lead by weight to meet AB1953 California & VT S152 Vermont low lead restrictions.
